STAY CALM

If you experience some sort of dental accident, the best thing you can do is to stay calm. While you may feel inclined to panic due to the pain and stress of an injury, you can take comfort knowing it can be treated, and our team is here to help get you back to a healthy, pain-free smile.

REDUCE BLEEDING

Once you’ve gained control of the situation, take assessment of your injury. If you’re experiencing any bleeding, place a strip of gauze on the site of the injury and apply pressure with your by biting down on the gauze.

CONTROL SWELLING

Over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help to temporarily reduce pain and swelling. However, steer clear of any blood-thinning medications like aspirin. An ice pack or cold compress can be applied to the cheek near the affected area to help reduce pain and inflammation.

When can I start using my membership?

Your membership is effective immediately!

How do I schedule my preventive care?

Simply call our office and set up an appointment for yourself or your family members.!

How can I use my Member Exclusive discount for restorative, elective or cosmetic treatment?

Simply schedule an appointment with our office and be sure to tell us you’re a member. When you arrive, we’ll make sure your membership is “current” and you will be eligible for instant savings off our regular fees.

How do I know if I need Perio membership?

If you’re a current patient, please contact us to confirm you’re on Perio Maintenance. If you are a new patient, we will make a recommendation after your initial exam.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

It will be your responsibility to reschedule. Please see our office policy regarding no-shows and last minute cancellations.

Can I add members to my account?

Absolutely! Your entire family can join.

Can I transfer my membership to another dentist?

Your club membership is solely with our office and as such is non-transferrable. If you move to another area, you may cancel your membership at any time.

How can I check on the status of my account?

Login to your Member Portal and look under Account Members. You’ll see the status of each member above his/her name.

Can I change or update my billing information?

Yes! Simply login to your Member Portal and click “Edit Your Payment Method”.

How do I cancel my membership?

Login to your Member Portal and click the “Remove” button for each member you’d like to cancel.

If I cancel, can I get a refund on my membership?

No. Refunds will not be provided for dues paid under any circumstances, including failure to schedule and maintain appointments.

How much do I pay to sign up for my club membership?

You’ll pay only the Lifetime Activation fee to join. This fee includes your first month’s membership dues.

Can I prepay my membership fees?

Memberships are currently month-to-month only.

What information is required for me to sign up for my club membership?

Dr. Hisham Barakat

Dr. Hisham Barakat is one of the top implant dentists in the US, recognized for his expertise in dental implants and innovative gum recession treatments. As a Board Certified Implantologist, he is among the top specialists in Virginia. Dr. Barakat earned his dental degree in Egypt and completed residencies at LSU. He has achieved prestigious credentials like Diplomate status from the American Board of Oral Implantology and Fellow status from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry and serves as faculty at VCU School of Dentistry. With advanced training from top university programs, Dr. Barakat provides exceptional care using the latest techniques in implant and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Ashley Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen attended the University of Florida and received her Bachelors Degree in Microbiology in 1989. She later graduated from the Medical College of Virginia Dental School in 1993.

Dr. Nguyen went on to complete her residency training in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Louisville Dental School. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys an active lifestyle with her husband, Tom, and their three daughters, Megan, Sarah and Emma.

Dr. Hazim Sadeddin

Dr. Sadeddin graduated from dental school in 2003. He then completed two years of postdoctoral training – one year at General Practice (GPR) in St. Mary’s Hospital in Connecticut followed by a second year at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In 2008, Dr. Sadeddin completed the Medical College of Georgia AAID MAXI-COURSE in Implant Dentistry. The Maxi-Course is amongst the most respected and comprehensive training programs in implant dentistry. Offered in University settings throughout the US and internationally, the course presenters include renowned university faculty, world-class clinicians, and the country’s top authorities in implant dentistry.

In early 2013, Dr. Sadeddin passed all the requirements to become an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and received his credentialing in October of 2013. Dr. Sadeddin has treated patients using Invisalign for the past 5 years and has been named an Invisalign Preferred Provider.

His passion and commitment to dentistry, along with his advanced technical skills, enable him to offer aesthetically pleasing and efficient dental care while always keeping his patients’ comfort in mind.

Dr. Denise Nguyen

Dr. Denise Nguyen is an accomplished orthodontist with over 20 years of experience in providing traditional braces, Invisalign®, lingual braces, Lightforce braces, and more. She takes her time with each patient, carefully listening to their concerns and explaining treatment options in detail.

After initially earning a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, Dr. Nguyen pursued her dream of becoming a dentist, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA where she graduated magna cum laude. She then went on to earn her certificate in orthodontics from Howard University in Washington, DC. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Northern Virginia Dental Society. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.

When she is not improving her patients’ smiles, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, playing piano, and giving back to her local community, including involvement with Mission of Mercy VA, Hope for Tomorrow, VietFest and more.
